Description

This session combines training for both digital citizenship and social/emotional learning. The 6 main areas of digital citizenship are: 1. Media Balance and Well Being, 2. Privacy and Security, 3. Digital Footprint and Identity, 4. Relationships and Communication, 5. Cyberbullying/ Digital Drama/ Hate Speech, and 6. News and Media Literacy. The 5 main areas of social emotional learning are: 1. Self-Awareness, 2. Self-Management, 3. Social Awareness, 4. Relationship Skills, and 5. Responsible Decision-Making. EdTech tools will be shared for each of the content areas covering how to implement each area in creative and collaborative ways.  All workshops are BYOD (Bring Your Own Device). Participants are responsible for bringing a wifi enabled device with all workshop software/apps downloaded before attending.
